The Queen -- accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh -- was opening a new centre for elephant care at Whipsnade Zoo in Bedfordshire, near London when she met Donna. Donna, naturally, didn't turn up her nose to being fed by the Queen. She accepted the banana with open arms -- or trunks, rather.
The Queen also met a baby elephant called Elizabeth, who was named after Her Royal Highness.
