Tumblr has become fun again. The Watch Her True Story 9 Onlineplatform is steadily going back to its roots, wooing G-Zen users, and even trolling TwitterX.
The thing that made Tumblr special, as Mashable has highlighted, was its emphasis on culture, whether that meant memes or social justice discourse. It's a melting pot for creative endeavours — and the microblogging site has recognized that.
Tumblr has now asked a group of its "beloved" artists to create special avatars for new users to utilize as their profile pictures. These original avatars range from 3D renditions of a panda eating a donut (created by Nikki) to digital illustrations of game consoles and fried eggs (made by Naomi Maria).
Because Tumblr specifically asked these artists to make avatars for "this very purpose", the images are available to download. The site noted to new users: "When you’re out in the Tumblr wilds, please always either reblog or ask an artist’s permission before you save or screenshot their work."
Step 1: Select your desired avatar from Tumblr's site.
There's some stunning choices out there.
Step 2: In your web browser, open Tumblr and log in.
Here's the website.
Step 3: Go to your account page.
Click your profile image to get to your account page.
Step 4: Click "Blog settings"
Step 5: Click "Edit Appearance".
Step 6: Hover over your profile image/avatar and click the pencil icon.
Step 7: Click "Choose a photo" to select your avatar file and upload it.
If you're on the app, tap your account button, click on the blog avatar and select "Change Avatar". From here, you can upload the avatar from your saved images.
