BERLIN -- How much tech can Farmer’s Wife: Handle with Care! Part 1: Angel Advent (2021)you stuff into tiny, wireless earbuds? Turns out, quite a lot. At the Showstoppers event that's accompanying the IFA show in Berlin, Jabra announced the Elite Sport, a pair of wireless earbuds that can also monitor your heart rate.
The data is transferred to Jabra's smartphone app, which is available for both Android and iOS, but a Jabra rep tells me it can also be used with other sport-tracking apps.

The smartest thing about these buds, however, is the fact that their case also doubles as a portable battery and a charger (which is in turn charged via a micro USB cable). On their own, these earbuds will work for up to three hours of music and calls, but place them in the case and you'll get an additional 6 hours of operation.
The earbuds are waterproof and dustproof to IP67 specifications; Jabra also offers a three-year warranty against sweat damage.
The Jabra Elite Sport earbuds cost $249 and are currently available for pre-order, with shipping beginning October 2016.
