Detachable Button Down Pants (or "DBDP") feature 1) a large denim belt, 2) a denim garter-suspender contraption, and 3) two button-up pant legs. Notably missing: fabric covering the crotch, the butt, or the hips. Interesting!

And there's one other thing that prevents me from condemning these Vetements-esque cowboy space pants entirely: I firmly believe that Rihanna would look amazing in them. And that means that the jeans aren't the problem.

The problem is that we are not all Rihanna.
