One Uber passenger had the ride of your childhood dreams.
User Okdiv posted a photo on Secretive Boarding HouseReddit of an Uber tricked out with a NES Classic--the much desired, recently discontinued take on the 1985 original.
The system was set up behind the passenger seat. In the comments, Okdiv said they picked The Legend of Zeldafrom a selection of games "because it had been a while" and "it's a childhood favorite."
The Reddit user said the driver was deaf, so conversation was limited to American Sign Language phrases. But it was clear he had "a ton of games."
The set-up included a screen, old-school controller and the gaming console carefully placed in the center divide with plenty of cords connecting it all. The post and comments didn't give any clues where the driver is based, so sadly you might have trouble tracking him down.
Playing the original Zelda is especially alluring now that a new version of the game is out for the Nintendo Switch. Not that newer isn't better, but our nostalgia is strong.
