David Lynch reprising his role as Cole isn't too surprising, either, as his name was already on the ginormous, 217-person cast list published in April.
Originally a 90's TV series and a subsequent film that made audiences freak out over its weirdness while trying to figure out who murdered of a young girl called Laura Palmer, Twin Peaksis coming back on Showtime as a continuation of the original series sometime in 2017.
The creators of the original show, Mark Frost and David Lynch, are back at the helm, but virtually nothing is known about the new series' plot.
