There was no Brienne in Game of Thrones' "Eastwatch" on Watch Take Turns Tasting With College Alumni OnlineSunday, but the show won't easily forget her...at least not while Tormund Giantsbane is around.
SEE ALSO: 'Game of Thrones' Season 7 marches on to 'Eastwatch' and here's what the critics thoughtTormund met up with Davos, Jon, Jorah, and Gendry at Eastwatch, where he was quick to shit on their plan to transport White Walkers south like truck stop souvenirs.
"How many men have you got?" asks Tormund.
"Not enough," Jon says evasively.
"The big woman?" asks Tormund.
Yes, Tormund is still thinking of his knight in shining armor, Brienne of Tarth, and the best part is that he's thinking of what a badass she is on the battlefield.
Things are a little tense for this couple-that-has-yet-to-be as Tormund ventures once more north of the wall to fight the dead. Of his present company, he's fought White Walkers the most times, died the least times, and has the highest chance of survival. As a wildling, he considers this treacherous tundra his home turf, and even though Jon is executing a dumb idea, Tormund is confident in his abilities.
Brienne's life in Winterfell is abnormally peaceful as she watches over the reunited Stark siblings and gets her ass handed to her in training by Arya the assassin. Sure, they're closer to the White Walkers than most of Westeros, and Little Finger is preparing to fuck shit up on his own terms, but we need Brienne safe and strong for a triumphant Tormund reunion.
Maybe in the finale?
