While on the set of Access Hollywood, Orange is the New Blackstar and transgender activist Cox spilled the beans that she will officially join Queen B on a mysterious upcoming project. Doing what exactly? We won't find out until September 6th—but that hasn't stopped people from guessing already.

"I'm like, does she pick out her biggest fans ever and let them work with her? It's pretty amazing."

Cox has long been a fan of Beyoncé (look no further than her Lip Sync Battleperformance), but the two first met at the 2017 Grammy Awards. She says "a sense of calm" came over her when they were finally introduced. Cox was originally contacted to appear in Bey's Grammy award-winning project Lemonade, but was unable to participate due to scheduling conflicts.
