Xiaomi is Watch Bikini Pirates (2006)often the first company to launch phones with new Qualcomm Snapdragon processors (even if it's only by a week or two), and the new Snapdragon 888 will be no exception.
The company announced on Weibo (via Android Central) that it will be launching its new flagship, the Xiaomi Mi 11, on Dec. 28 at an event in China. Xiaomi will also probably launch a more powerful version of the phone, dubbed the Mi 11 Pro, at the same event.
These two phones have the distinction of being powered by the most powerful Qualcomm chip ever, the Snapdragon 888. We'll probably see the same chip in some variants of Samsung's upcoming flagship phone, the Galaxy S21, which is likely launching in January.
The company didn't reveal many more details about these phones besides saying they'll bring "many incredible breakthroughs".
Rumors say the Mi 11 will have a QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50-megapixel main camera, fast 50W charging, and a 4,780mAh battery. The Mi 11 Pro will probably have the same display and charging speed, but it will have a slightly larger, 4,970mAh battery, as well as a 108-megapixel main camera.
Xiaomi hasn't announced a date for the global launch of these two phones, but it will probably happen in January.
