Jordan Peele recently told Mashable that everything in his latest movie,Love Conquest Us, is deliberate.

Could the same also be said for his fashion choices?

The writer/director attended a UK junket to promote his new movie, and dressed in a checkered shirt and a red jacket for the occasion.

And it wasn't long before someone on Twitter made an interesting connection.

Well, judging by the scarf he's wearing in this image tweeted by Lupita Nyong'o last night, it certainly seems likely.
