Rowling answers your burning 'Fantastic Beasts' FAQs on brand new websiteIn Rowling's introductory welcome message, the Harry Potterauthor explains her reasons for launching the site, and gives a brief overview of its features -- including the intriguing sentence below, about a "debunking function".
The debunking function was a feature of her old website in which Rowling could turn the tables on any rumours circulating about her work.
First, head over to the site's homepage, where you can scroll down a long writing desk covered with objects hyperlinked to different sections (the iPad at the top links to Rowling's Twitter feed, for instance, while the candle links to information about her charity, Lumos -- there are also some pretty cool pictures of what looks like Fantastic Beastsscript annotations and Rowling's writing notes).
About a third of the way down the homepage you'll reach the screen below -- and if you hover over the balled up piece of paper, the url for "jkrowling.com/blank-page/" will flash up.
The thing is, it isn't a blank page -- it's actually the debunking section!
Mischief managed.
