Being an actor surprisingly comes with a few occupational hazards -- well,Show up Yukari Taguchi at least if you're a big action star it does.
Jeremy Renner, who plays Hawkeye in the Avengersseries, revealed he suffered a truly nasty injury while on the job. Although it was previously reported that he fractured his right elbow and his left wrist while filming stunts for the upcoming Avengers: Infinity Warfilm, The Hollywood Reporterconfirms the injury happened on the set of the New Line comedy Tag, andnot the action packed Marvel movie.
According to Variety, while speaking at a Karlovy Vary Film Festival press conference on Friday for Taylor Sheridan’s “Wind River,” Renner cooly played off the incident by stating, "That’s how it goes. It’s part of the job.” He just broke both his arms at work, NBD.

But when asked how the injury will affect his work, Renner didn't seem too worried about it.
I’m sort of a problem solver, you know. There will be an effect to it, but it won’t stop me from doing things that I need to be doing. I’ll heal fast. I’m doing everything I can to heal faster. I’m doing a job that isn’t really requiring a ton of stunts. It’s not an action movie; it’s a comedy. It just happens to have a few stunts in it. So I don’t have to beat a whole lot of people up or do anything crazy. So it won’t really affect my job….It affects how I get dressed in the morning. I can’t tie my shoes, but outside of that and everything else, I can kind of get by.
Renner is set to star in the next Bourne movie, so we certainly hope his arms are healed by then.
And it you're worried he might not be in peak form before the next Avengersfilm, Renner reassured fans by saying, "I shall heal up before Avengersstarts up again."
There you have it -- Hawkeye will be back wielding that bow again in no time.
