Google held its "Launch Night In" event on TagsWednesday, the pandemic version of its annual hardware reveal. The company announced its latest phones, speaker, and streaming device.
Google's new phones have arrived! The Pixel 4a 5G isn’t super different from its predecessor, with the exception of a slightly larger 6-inch OLED display.
Meanwhile, the Pixel 5 is made of 100 percent recycled aluminum, and is just a tiny bit bigger with a 6.1-inch OLED screen.
Both phones feature:
A Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset with 5G connectivity.
Dual cameras, including a 12MP main sensor and 16MP ultra wide-angle lens.
A rear fingerprint sensor.
Google also introduced Night Sight with Portrait Mode, which lets users take portrait mode photos in low light.

Remember the Google Home smart speaker? The Nest Audio is its long-awaited successor. Google claims it will offer 50 percent more bass and 75 percent more volume.
The company also claims Google Assistant now responds twice as fast to your voice compared to the Google Home.
Google finally did it, everyone – it gave the Chromecast a remote. Not only does the 4K HDR streaming device no longer require a smartphone for use, the new remote takes voice commands and comes in three swanky new colors (Snow, Sunrise, and Sky). It pairs with the new Google TV user interface, which will study what you watch and give you personalized recommendations.
