Airlines already have watch free mainstream sex moviesa whole bunch of information about you when you fly.
So just imagine if augmented reality could remind attendants about your favourite drink and even figure out how you're feeling? It's a future that Air New Zealand is exploring, with the help of Microsoft's HoloLens AR headset.

The project, a collaboration between the airline and Dimension Data, is currently in beta at this point but there's room for further AR experiments.
It's not the first time Air New Zealand tried its hand at cutting-edge technologies. In 2015, it launched a "world-first" bag drop featuring a biometric camera, which would verify passengers identities according to their passport's photo.
But we'd also wonder if passengers might not be so into a flight attendant with a giant set of AR goggles using the HoloLens' "air tap" gesture around the cabin.
Not to mention the fact that some information -- like loyalty status or meal/drink preferences -- won't be so useful for us mere mortals in economy class, who aren't often wondering where that gin and tonic we ordered 15 minutes ago has gone to.
