How many people can Chinatell the world they've received a direct message from Luke Skywalker? Well, this Reddit user can.

Redditor Dozzarelli sent Mark Hamill a tweet, asking him to verify his autograph on an old photo of the Star Wars cast he'd just bought.

And Hamill, fresh of his awkward conversation about Luke Skywalker's virginity in Star Wars, replied with a cheeky DM.

Naturally, Dozzarelli shared screenshots of his conversation on Reddit.

“I sent Mark Hamill a tweet asking him to verify if a picture I bought was his autograph – didn’t expect a response. Next thing, got this (please excuse the fanboy response," he wrote.

Hamill responded: "Hi Will -- That one is a close call. It might be real, but the "Mark" looks odd to me & might be one of the countless Fakes I've seen. Wish I could be definite, but hey -- if it seems real to you -- Enjoy! xoxo, mh"

An incredulous Dozzarelli then replied telling Hamill how he's been such a huge inspiration for him since he was little, and adding that "I'll keep believing it's real".

To which Hamill replied with a smile emoji.
