Felwinter. Iron Temple. Saladin. To Destinyfans, these are long-familiar names that Rise of Ironpromises to flesh out. The add-on explores the backstory that informs the game's monthly Iron Banner tournaments, and the Iron Lords they're named for.
SEE ALSO: 'Destiny' moves into competitive esports with private PvP matchesThe story eventually ranges out beyond Felwinter's Peak and into the Plaguelands, a zone on Earth that's been contaminated by a techno-virus called SIVA. The Fallen have been infecting themselves intentionally to harness SIVA's power, unaware of the threat the nanotech virus poses.
You don't see the Plaguelands until after "King of the Mountain," but the mission ends with a showdown against a familiar foe. Sepiks Prime, the giant Servitor orb that served as the boss of Destiny's very first Strike mssion, is back with a new look and a new name: Sepiks Perfected.
