If you want to watch women bosses spill their secrets for 24 hours straight,Woman Waiting for Adultery Facebook's got you.
In honour of International Women's Day, the social media giant is hosting a global livestreaming event with women entrepreneurs, policy makers and leaders using the hashtag #SheMeansBusiness.
SEE ALSO: YouTube is going big for International Women’s DayThe event kicked off Wednesday in Auckland, New Zealand, where the founder of the outlet Villainesse, Lizzie Marvelly, answered questions about her work. In Sydney, Australia, the creator of the Mamamia media network Mia Freedman took over.
Talking female representation on social media, among other things, Freedman said she finds rest and balance by expecting "more from my husband and less of myself than the average woman."
Other participants will include Facebook executives as well as Canadian politician Bardish Chagger and in the U.S., director of the National Association of Women Business Owners, Loreen Gilbert.
The live videos could perhaps use a little boost by Facebook, however. Viewership on Freedman's live segment, for example, hovered around five to six viewers. Perhaps the project will pick up steam once Europe and the U.S. come back online.
Facebook is also inviting women around the world to create their own live videos using the #SheMeansBusiness hashtag.
In a video message, Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg said the company "is helping shine a light on the women who lead in our communities, our families and our friendships."
