According to a report by Caijing magazine,Kalakal Tencent is accelerating the deployment of large model applications and has recently purchased a new batch of AI chips from NVIDIA. In order to fulfill Tencent’s order on time, NVIDIA’s H20 chips have experienced short-term supply shortages. The order is estimated to be worth several billion yuan, sources suggested. Tencent’s large-scale procurement of H20 chips in the short term is primarily to support WeChat’s integration with DeepSeek, the report claimed. As of the time of writing, Tencent has not responded.
