According to South Korean outlet Yonhap News (via SamMobile), the company is getting ready to launch the Galaxy Fold in Korea on Sept. 6.
The date is interesting, as this is the same day the IFA trade show in Berlin officially starts -- though there's still no word whether Samsung will officially launch the Fold there.
A few months ago, Samsung said it has fixed the Fold's issues and promised a September launch, but the company did not reveal an exact date.

In July, Samsung announced it has identified and fixed all the issues plaguing the fold. The fixes included reinforcements to keep particles out of the device, a strengthened hinge that's closer to the phone's body, additional layers of metal beneath the display, and an extended protective layer, making it harder to peel off.
September is shaping up to be one of the hottest months for smartphones ever. Apple will launch new iPhones on Sept. 10, several phone manufacturers, including LG and Sony, are likely to launch new phones at IFA, and we may get the first foldable smartphones from Samsung and Huawei too.
