Some eight months after it was originally announced at WWDC, and after a two-week pre-order period, Apple's Vision Pro has finally launched.
Apple CEO Tim Cook called the Vision Pro the "most advanced consumer electronic device ever created," and initial reviews praised the tech, though it remains uncertain whether paying the steep entry price of $3,499 is worth it right now.
The company announced on Thursday that the Vision Pro will launch with 600 new apps built exclusively for the device, but users will have access to more than 1 million compatible iOS and iPadOS apps.

Users who aren't ready to dish out all that money now can also book a free demo at their local Apple Store.
