I pray that when I die — God-willing,Oil Massage With Naked Body many years from now — I no longer tweet. Please, I beg, let death at least release me from posting.
Herman Cain, who died less than two weeks ago, however, is still tweeting. And everyone is confused by that strange fact.
OK, obviously Cain — the former Republican candidate for president who died in July after being hospitalized with COVID-19 — was not actuallytweeting. But his account responded to the news that former Vice President Joe Biden had selected California Sen. Kamala Harris as a running mate on the 2020 Democratic presidential ticket.
"Just in case you thought Biden's candidacy was going to be anything other than completely nuts, team Trump has released a new video," Cain's account posted on Wednesday.
At the time, Cain's account still had his photo and used the politician's name as its display name. It has since made clear the message was coming from a group called "The Cain Gang" and not Herman Cain himself (obviously).

Dr. Melanie Cain Gallo, Cain's daughter, posted on his website that the family intended to continue using their late father's platform. Thus, the tweet.
"We’ve decided here at Cain HQ that we will go on using this platform to share the information and ideas he believed in," Gallo wrote. "He often talked about the site going on once he was ready to step away from it. We had hoped he could enjoy reading it in his retirement, but he made it clear he wanted it to go on."
Still, folks were... let's say... curious... that Cain's account was attacking Democrats even after he died.

Despite the confused response from lots of people, Cain's account kept on posting. Come Friday the rebranded "Cain Gang" was lobbing attacks at Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and retweeting Rudy Giuliani.
2020 is very strange.
