ByteDance,Roman Huber the Chinese technology company behind TikTok, stated in its latest corporate discipline report that the company had fired 103 employees, including contractors and interns, for various violations at work. Of these, 11 employees are under criminal investigation, one for embezzlement, and five for bribery. The charges against the remaining five have not been disclosed. The report highlighted frequent cases of confidential company information being leaked, and included a recent incident involving an intern who sabotaged an AI training model. [Jiemian, in Chinese]
