The Anchorwoman A XXX Parodyhistory of magic just got a little richer, with Pottermore planning to release non-fiction ebooks in conjunction with the Harry Potter: A History of Magic exhibition. The exhibition, which launched in 2017 at the British Library, featured historic and folkloric inspirations for the kind of magic we see in the Harry Potter books.
The books will be divided up based on Hogwarts curriculum; one for Divination and Astronomy, one for Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts, one for Potions and Herbology, and one for Care of Magical Creatures (all with new drawings by artist Rohan Daniel Eason). The British Library also published A Journey Through a History of Magicin 2017.
Best of all, they'll include notes, sketches, and manuscripts by J.K. Rowling that were displayed at the History of Magic exhibition.
Harry Potter: A Journey Through Charms and Defence Against the Dark Artswill be the first to launch on June 27. All four ebooks are available for pre-order now.
