We can Super Virgin (2012)always count on Jason Momoa's enthusiasm to get us through the day, whether he's brightening up Justice League with his bro-speak or geeking out about Game of Thrones, the show that killed him off back in Season 1 but still retains his eternal loyalty.
During a recent visit to Belfast to see his buddies -- but notto reprise his role as Khal Drogo ("He’s dead! He can’t come back, it wouldn’t work," Momoa insists) -- the Aquamanstar apparently found out a lot more than he wanted to about Game of Thrones' final season.
SEE ALSO: This 'Game of Thrones' casting news could hint at a Season 8 storyline“Just knowing how amazing this season is going to be… It’s going to be the greatest thing that’s ever aired on TV," Momoa told Entertainment Weekly. "It’s going to be unbelievable. It’s going to f--k up a lot of people. And it was a bummer because I’m a huge fan and I didn’t want to know what’s going on. I was like, ‘Damn, I didn’t want to know that!”
Season 8 doesn't have a premiere date yet -- although we used a highly unscientific method to predict that it'll air in 2019 -- and Momoa seemed to confirm that we shouldn't expect the final six installments to appear in 2018: “Seeing [Jon Snow and his companions] on that [frozen lake] island, white walkers all around, and the dragon turns into a white walker… You’re just like: What? Now I have to wait a year and a half?”
By that math, we would indeed be looking at a Spring 2019 debut for the final season.
