Ex-One Direction member Zayn Malik is Scooby Doo Porn Parodyteaming up with Law & Ordercreator Dick Wolf and NBC to create a boy band drama according to The Hollywood Reporter. It's called Boys -- sadly not stylized asbOyS -- and will probably be the best show ever.
SEE ALSO: The Internet is flooded with crying teens because Zayn left One DirectionThis unexpected collaboration will go behind the scenes of a boy band on the fast track to fame, telling the story of their lives and revealing the juicy behind-the-scenes drama we've all been waiting for.
Ideally, Boyswill also include a crossover episode where Olivia Benson gives Zayn a pep talk and reminds him that young women deserve nothing but happiness.
Since leaving One Direction, Zayn put out his debut solo album, Mind of Mine, in March, but hasn't been able to play many live shows recently due to panic attacks. Earlier today, he canceled a show scheduled for Dubai in October due to crippling anxiety, noting in a statement:
I have been working over the last three months to overcome my extreme anxiety around major live solo performances I feel I am making progress but I have today acknowledged that I do not feel sufficiently confident to move forward with the planned show in Dubai in October.
Malik's former bandmate, Harry Styles, is kicking off his acting career with a role in Christopher Nolan's new film, Dunkirk.
Per THR, the show is set to be a musical (a la Smash) so if they play their cards right, fans could get a whole new actual boy band out of this deal.
A rep for Wolf did not immediately reply to Mashable's request for comment.
