The source claimed that Huawei has placed sufficient orders with its supply chain to ensure it meets this shipment target for 2024. Although this target represents a doubling of shipments compared to 2022, it is still equivalent to Huawei’s total shipments in 2014. Huawei’s peak smartphone shipments over the past decade occurred in 2019, with a total of 240 million units shipped, surpassing iPhone shipments of 198 million units in the same year.
