A mall in Shanghai knows the pain of a man who has to endure endless rounds of shopping on Watch Hana ni Keda Mono: Second Season Onlinea weekend. And the pain of his partner who wants to shop without a deadweight hanging on.
The Vanke mall in Shanghai just opened a "husband nursery" over the weekend. It's encouraging people to deposit their husbands there while they go shopping.

In Chinese, the room's name "老公寄存室" translates to the amusing but perhaps more accurate "husband storage room."
On Weibo, China's version of Twitter, people seem to think it's a great idea.
"I see there's a baby chair there, my compliments!" said a female user.
"This is good, I wouldn't be afraid to be dragged along to the mall by my wife if I could be there," said dusk_rain.
Some wondered if having the nursery defeats the purpose of spending the day out with your partner. "This spoils the shopping experience," said Wang Meng Yao.
One female user added: "Is there a wife nursery? I don't like shopping."
