Steve and Danielle VanHorn, of Dover, Ohio, recently dressed up in their favorite throwback styles for a fantastically cheesy '80s photoshoot. Photographer Vanessa Hoffmann perfectly captured the essence of the decade through the awkward poses and absurd backgrounds.

From the outfits to the backgrounds and poses, they're usually hilarious. So when my wife proposed doing a 10-year anniversary photo shoot, I said let's do an '80s throwback instead of something serious, and she was all about it."

Steve said that being from a small town, they never expected this kind of response, "We knew friends and family would get a kick out of them....but we had no idea we'd be getting messages from all over the United States! It's crazy, but we're thrilled so many people are finding joy in the pictures."

We can't wait for 30 years from now when couple's recreate the Insta-looks we thought were cool in 2017.
