A day after India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he wants to know people’s opinion on the surprise demonetization move through his app, he is trending on the Indian App Store, and the Google Play. His app is incidentally called Narendra Modias well.

So much so that at the time of writing, every search suggestion on App Store, and Trending section on Google Play was about Modi, in India.
People’s interest to find the app on the App Store, so that they can presumably share their feedback in the dim hope of it making a difference underscores the pain hundreds of millions of Indians are going through in the nation.
The search interest comes two weeks after Modi, in a televised address to the nation, said that the most circulated cash in the country will be rendered useless in the market overnight. Though the move has been lauded by many, some strongly believe that the government hasn’t responsibly executed the idea.
Google Search trends also registered a spike in keywords such as "Narendra Modi app", and "Modi app".
